As a Registered Vascular Technologist, I have embraced the constant changes and challenges that this skilled profession brings fourth. Being in the healthcare for over 9 years, the field of vascular technology has provided many great learning experiences, both personally and professionally. Initially trained within the field of cardiovascular technology, I have earned a very practical, efficient approach to patient care. I have been fortunate enough to have received the teachings and clinical experiences from the best physicians and healthcare professionals within highly-ranked academic institutions, including research and clinical trials. With ongoing changes in protocols, technology, and patient-oriented services, this field has provided me with essential experience within many healthcare institutions, its professionals and structural organization it houses, as well as exposure to diverse technology, equipment, and software. My preceptors and colleagues include a wide range of specialty healthcare providers, including clinically experienced Registered Vascular Technologists, Vascular Surgeons and Internists, Radiologists, and Neurologists. Active with the SC Vascular Ultrasound Association and the Society of Vascular Ultrasound, I am also a huge advocate for continuing education, standardization & registry, and ICAVL accreditation.
My objective is to secure employment with an institution that values quality patient care, first and foremost. My wish is to receive ongoing knowledge and training, continually broadening my scope of practice as a vascular ultrasound professional. With my diverse technical, clinical, and surgical background, I feel that I have developed an efficient, autonomous, and extremely practical approach to delivering my professional services with quality, detail-oriented care. My extensive advanced education in the field of Vascular Technology and Healthcare Management also qualify me for leadership within advanced clinical, research, or management positions. My passion is providing fellow healthcare professionals and patients with more than just diagnostic services by promoting the field of Vascular Technology and Wellness through patient education, vascular awareness, and preventive health to all we serve.
I appreciate your timely and careful consideration for the applied position, as my resume is attached for your review. Should you need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.
