Northland Services, Anchorage, Alaska January 2012 to March 2012
Loaded and unloaded ocean going containerized barges at the Anchorage and Seward, Alaska Ports. Also, loaded containers onto Alaska railroad cars for transport into Anchorage from Seward when the Anchorage port was frozen. Finally, I loaded and unloaded containers to and from large transport trucks. I accomplished these tasks using Hyster 620, 800 and 920 forklifts.

Began as baggage handler and worked my way to Load Master where I was responsible for supervising and training employees. The training is consistent with company policies and procedures (SOP) and applicable State and Federal regulations for cargo loading, and aircraft refueling. Also, insure employees understand importance of aircraft weight and balance, securing of cargo loads, proper storage, movement, and retrieval of materials and fuels. I have trained and certified fuel tanker and forklift drivers, also, those operating de-icing and other equipment in the aircraft loading areas. The training emphasized safety regulations, hazard recognition and mitigation, equipment inspection and repair before and after use in accordance with (SOP). Finally, work closely with dispatch and operations to maximize human resources, and company profits.
