Managed recruitment of nurses and allied healthcare professionals of all backgrounds and specialties for placement in facilities situated in all 50 states.
250 calls a day, 10 submissions a week and at least 2 deals a month.
Kept knowledgeable on all hospital nursing and allied specialties with primary focus on the core specialties, which in the nursing division included ICU, ER, OR, Labor and Delivery, Med Surg, Telemetry and in the allied division OT, COTA, PT, PTA; as well as needed certifications, state licensure information, and salary range information.
Rendered support to nurses by securing information about classes such as dates and costs of offered classes, contact persons for reservations in order to gain professional certifications.
Ensured marketability of the company capitalizing on various offers including but not limited to vision, dental, and health benefits, 401K, licensure and certification reimbursement, referral bonuses, tax advantage plan and travel expenses.
Gathered and filed qualified candidate’s information such as resume, skills checklist, and references then converted file into the company provided resume format. Reviewed profile and contacted nurses regarding any missing information required for profile submission to hospitals.
Clearly discussed specific locations of assignments to qualified nurses; prepared rate sheets; discussed compensation packages to nurses in full details including hourly rate, taxable rate, housing or lodging stipend, per diem, benefits available, and any travel allowances being provided.
Set the nurses most available time for the hospital to contact them for an interview including phone number, interview availability, confirmation of shift schedule and soonest available start.
Managed nurse though the credentialing and orientation process.
Proficiently utilized Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as TSS Software database, bullhorn database, CareerBuilder, Monster, RNVIP for recruiting and preparing rate sheets, used company online Administrator for access to the job board and online applications.
