Duties: Responsible for 7 separate payrolls for approximately 2,500 employees using the Oracle payroll system. Handled all third party deductions, including court ordered deductions such as child support and garnishments. Completed employment verifications and dealt with unemployment claims for all Pemco employees (approx. 3,000 people). Completed new hire reports for new employees at all Pemco locations. Set up and maintained excel spreadsheets for use in running reports for child support payments, etc. Assisted with pensions, including producing illustrations to show estimated pension and corresponding with retiree and investment group. Balanced General Ledger accounts.
