Provides professional occupational safety and health services as a member of a team supporting OSHA and other government clients. Primary role is in support of OSHA’s Directorate of Enforcement Programs (DEP). With strong working knowledge of OSHA safety and health standards, he assists callers to OSHA’s Compliance Assistance Hotline with questions about the application and interpretation of OSHA standards. Responds to e-mail queries received through OSHA’s e-correspondence system and reviews OSHA letters of interpretation. Currently working under a contract to provide safety information and support to the TSA for around 20 airports in the southeast region of the country.

Conducted OSHA compliance training for respirator use, HAZCOM, workers compensation, safety committees, benzene, and forklift operation. He also conducted DOT compliance training on topics such as driver qualification files (MVR’s, medical card, driver application, drug and alcohol testing), hours of service, and driver’s logs. For Isnetworld, developed and implemented safety programs to achieve 100% compliance. In addition, he compiled an impressive list of tool box talks and various other training materials.

Safety Director for the Nitro Blast cleaning project at a coal electric generation plant in Billings Montana. Performed walkthroughs at local business to identify occupational hazards and provided recommendations for abatement.
