PROFESSIONALPERFORMANCEHISTORY
7/2011 Currently seeking challenging short or long term Project cost-schedule assignment.
3/2011 to 7/2011 Senior P3 & P2 scheduler with Luster Consulting Engineering. Assignment: USACE Program Management Division New Orleans, LA. Tasks consisted of scheduling and reporting the: Design, demolitions, constructions, and modifications of multiple major high-dollar Project life cycles.
2/2010 to 10/2010 Team P3 scheduler assigned the final construction-commissioning of a food processing facility, and elevated parking structure. Generated KPI & SOV templates to trend sub’s work performance.
12/2007 to 1/20010 Resident P3-P6 scheduler for Genentech Pharmaceutical Company. The Project consisted of: Design-Bid-Build of a Research Laboratory Facility. Jog-site/ over-site monitoring of General Contractors construction performance. Review/analyzed cost-schedule impacts and verify approved changes performed,
3/2007 to11/2007 Senior P3-P5 Scheduler for the development of a VA Hospital Project. Resource cost loaded baseline. Database contained total contract value (Fee, Profit, Overhead, G&A, trades-labor, & materials.
2/006 to 2/2007 P3-P5 Senior scheduler with Parsons Engineering on the TRIP Program ($4B), Produced an integrated life cycle baseline schedule database for 18 major City/County roadways, railways and freeway projects. Schedule database contained environmental studies, designs, Bid/Awards and final constructions.
5/2005 to 2/2006 P3 Senior Scheduler for Seattle’s Light Rail Sound Program $720M. Baseline of U/G GC’s segment #3 integrated cost/schedule database. On-site monitoring the performance progress, and analyzed multiple design changes for cost and schedule impacts. Verify approved changes in baseline database.
8/2004 to 4/2005 Senior P3 Scheduler for the San Francisco city eastside MUNI light rail line and track Program ($759). Ten miles of line and track, three bridges, and 8 track segments. • LA City Schools Construction Program ($4B). Baseline approval of multiple GC’s, and their sub-contractor’s cost/ trades labor resource loaded P3 schedules. Produced cost/schedule impacts data for change board. Verify change board approvals integrated into active working baseline schedules.
• Airport Modification Project ($49 M) Ontario, CA. Baseline GC’s resource loaded P3 schedule database. Project ran concurrent with the LA Schools Projects for the first year. Performed daily on-line over-site schedule review, and weekly progress meetings with the resident CM Manager provided me the necessary data needed to accept their monthly performance payment submittals.
12/1999 to 8/2002 On-site over-site construction senior P3 schedule engineer for Cal-train and BART light rail commuter train Programs.
• Cal-train local active commuter passenger train Program ($750M). Tasks consisted of: Scheduling the Up-grading of 12 stations, platforms, line and track, and switching systems. Coded, integrated, and approved 16 major Sub-Project schedule templates into Program master Primavera baseline database. Templates monitored design review cycles, bid & awards, and constructions thru completions. WBS coded and instituted to link sub-project template activities to functional organizations for audits.
• URS Program Management P3 schedule team member for monitored three active BART underground construction Projects general contractors for: Three city passenger stations, elevated parking structures, underground station platforms, and the extension to the San Francisco International Airport. Analyzed changes for cost-schedule impacts, and produced claim delay analysis for change board review. Verified approved changes incorporated into contractors active working baseline schedules.
• Every Program or Project I have worked on over the past 12 years the sub-contractors have used various releases of MS Project as their cost-scheduling tool. Their reasoning is the simplicity of the software use and the cost. It is an excellent cost scheduling tool to import into Primavera.
12/1997-11/1999 Senior P3 scheduler/field engineer with Luster Consulting Engineering Company.
Over-site CM scheduler for Federal maximum security prison Project ($160M). Baseline approved general contractors schedule for cost-schedule performance to contract, and reconciled monthly invoice for performance payments. Verified approved changes for cost and schedule impact were incorporated into working baseline.
1970-1988 I was employed by aerospace companies: TRW Systems, Hughes Aerospace, and Lockheed Communications to name a few. I worked on highly classified communication Programs as a planning scheduling chief. We developed the cost controls system CSCC (C-Spec) that later became the Defense Department’s standard for their Earned Value methodology. Downsizing of the Aerospace Industry in 1983 I chose to enter the private commercial construction industry.
