Vendor Manager in Procurement

Sourced capital equipment, industrial supplies for manufacturing, finished goods, tenure awards, and year-end awards. Managed service contracts for corporation. Managed ad specialty programs, promotions, and contests incentives. Managed recycling efforts, cost reduction programs, supplier certifications and SAP.

Selected accomplishments:

• Obtained certification as an ISO Quality and Environmental internal auditor. Instrumental in writing departmental procedures and work instructions. Conducted internal audits allowing for maintaining corporate ISO certifications.

• Leveraged negotiation and communication skills (for security and fire services), resulting in a significant cost avoidance over a 10-year period for all corporate locations.
