Work under shop supervisor and engineers, able to follow instructions.

Welder

Skilled welder/fabricator:

Able to weld two or more pieces of metal together using heat to melt and permanently join the weldment. Able to weld strong joint by having the right penetration. Able to metal finish stainless steel. Able to weld structural, auto body repair and more.

Able to weld and cut all types of metal ranging from heavy plate and structural steel to light sheet metals using materials such as: oxygen and acetylene, heliarc, flux cored, shielded metal, Tig and Mig welding, and stick welding( 6010,7018).

Weld/fabrication tools:

Able to use and operate tools and equipment such as: timesaver, chipping hammers, grinders, wire brushes, pipe threaders, iron worker machines, buffers, cutting torch, drill and mag drill.

Welding materials:

Able to us materials such as: aluminum, stainless steel and carbon steel. Able to read blueprints and perform job layouts. Knowledge of safety such as OSHA rules and regulations

Painting

Able to performs all types of industrial painting work. Able to prepares various surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, bead blasting or other means as necessary. Able to mixes, matches, and blends various paints, enamels, aircraft paint, metallic, varnishes, stains and clear coating to achieve desired color, consistency, and drying properties. Able to use caulks, putties, cements or bondo holes and cracks. Able to replaces glass in windows and doors. Able to erects and uses ladders, and scaffolding as required. Able to paint buildings, structures, equipment, and furniture using brush, spray gun or other applicator. Able to prepare wall and hangs paper or other wall covering material. Able to determines quantities and requests supplies orally or in writing.

Able to clean and store tools and equipment and clean work sites. Able to assists in a variety of maintenance and repair work on plant equipment including pumps, fans, gear boxes, shafts, chemical feed equipment, water lines, valves, belts, motors, and boilers. Able to assists in performing preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and plumbing. Able to drive vehicles such as : forklift and company vehicle to transports personnel, materials, and equipment as needed. Able to bend/stoop/reach and lift/carry heavy objects, and climb ladders and /onto scaffold. Maintain records and logs as needed.
