The New Brighton Plant manufactures corn tortillas, flour tortillas, fried corn chips, and un-fried corn chips. Responsibilities included operating a 24/7 production operation, managing 6 production supervisors, 12 line leads and over 225 non-union hourly associates.
• Lowered overtime from 23% to less than 6%.
• Reduced waste from over 18% to less than 2%.

Starmark Foods was the producer and distributor of all food products used by Wyatt’s Cafeteria 135 stores nationwide. Starmark had gross annual sales of $14.4 million. Responsibilities included overseeing a production team of 2 managers, 4 supervisors, 100 hourly team members, QC, and purchasing. Starmark Foods manufactured frozen pies and cakes; mayonnaise, salad dressings, bottled vinegar, dips, refrigerated salads, fresh salads, cooked and refrigerated sauces and fresh and frozen meat. Starmark distributed their product by their company owned trucks.
