Objective:
As a graduate of Middlesex University studying BA Business Administration I am looking to expand the knowledge I’ve gained in the following career fields of branding, marketing, product development, events, sales, advertising, communications, and journalism. I am very enthusiastic about participating in professional management and other training programmes. The combination of nearly five years of work experience and college credits earned has enabled me to be a mouldable and unique candidate who is more seasoned than most and serious about creating a long lasting relationship with an employer. Other computer skills I can offer would be in Microsoft Office Suite, Quickbooks, Adobe, Photoshop, and Mac. My strong writing and typing skills also will be useful in daily administrative activities and in writing proposals/plans. Currently seeking full-time employment.

• Graduate of the BA Business Administration with Marketing Honours programme at Middlesex University as of July 5, 2010. Final (fourth) year modules: Business & Society, International Marketing, Organisational Internship, and International Business Strategy. September 2009 – June 2010
• GPA (grade point average 3.5 throughout my 3 years of upper-level college study in New York State Universities in the USA), which is equivalent to honours college credits.
• First three years of undergraduate study spent at SUNY (State University of New York) Purchase/Albany, NY. (Business Management major and a minor in Communications in the SUNY school system)
• Received credit for college courses at Rockland Community College in the early admissions program during my senior year of high school.

Other Freelance Work 2011: As a freelancer, I have been engaged in multiple industries over the past year. I have working with a popular venue in event sales for Novus Leisure and have sold print adverts on behalf of luxury clients (i.e. Mercedes). Now, I still operate as a consultant and wish to engage in a more proactive, progressive full-time role.
• FUEL CREATIVITY: Marketing & Branding Manager (West London) February –October 2011. Conducted market research for global clients (i.e. TATA), compiled pitches, proposals, and presentations. Consulted in marketing strategies, branding tactics, and consumer markets. Frequented networking events as a company rep to gain new business.
• MC SAATCHI & SAATCHI Public Relations (London, UK) – June – August 2010 - work placement. Wrote press releases, contacted media, conducted market research (online/field), created powerpoint presentations, and collected coverage (online/print). Worked with UK Consumer Brand clients including Curry’s and PC World.
• Middlesex University (London, UK) – February 2010 – May 2010 – Assistant to the Director of International Partnerships. Was responsible for producing a business proposal describing a marketing plan that will be utilized to obtain partnership with U.S. Universities and Community Colleges and attract American students to study at Middlesex.
• Nordstrom (New York): (March 2009 – September 2009) Retail Manager/Make-up Artist of Smashbox Cosmetics. Was solely responsible for driving the sales of this cosmetic line and managing product inventory and events. Also served as a beauty consultant and make-up artist for clients that booked special appointments. Responsible for managing a team of part/full-time staff, meeting sales targets, product launches, and event coordination.
• Beyond Time Cosmetics (New Rochelle, NY) – June 2008- May 2009 - Executive Assistant Assisted with marketing concepts to promote the cosmetics line further.
Sales -served as a sales consultant to customers and distributors in renewing contracts and placing new orders. Sold products door-to-door to spas, salons, drugstores & also had experience in telesales.
Promotions – had an influence on the forms of advertisement used such as the ad selection pertaining to the multiple cosmetic products sold in the company including anti-aging crème.
Contract Negotiation -assisted in the development and negotiation of a potential international sales distribution agreement.
• Spotlight Live (Times Square of New York City): Late June 2008 – August 2008 -Assistant to Marketing Director. Worked alongside a well-known NYC promoter by the name of Peter Aiello.
Creative Directing -assisted with conceptualization of brochures/flyers and in choosing media to advertise with, pre –production of event aesthetics.
Events Management - assisted with the booking of parties & VIP reservations, writing proposals, and served as a liaison at meetings and participated in tours of our venue for prospective clients.
• Creative Events Marketing Group/nightclubsnyc.com: (New York, NY): September 2007 – March 2008: Marketing assistant. Contributed to the organization of small and large scale event productions, helped promoters to ensure that numbers were met week to week, and assisted in the development of marketing strategies for NYC nightlife venues.
• Artisan Financial Services (Atlanta, GA): January – August 2007: Administrative Assistant – handled customer relations, light office work, data entry, utilized an array of software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks.

• Activities: Songwriting/Creative Writing, Acting, Tennis, & Swimming,
• Volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital in Rockland County, New York.
• Competed in the European Business School scholarship competition. One of thirty writers to be shortlisted for a presentation at EBS in Regent’s Park (July 2008).
• Served as team leader for study groups at Middlesex University in the following modules International Marketing and International Business Strategy. Designated duties to each team member, arranged meetings, led practice presentations, motivated and offered guidance to team members.
