WORK EXPERIENCE
2007 – Present Eastern Aero Marine Production Manager Miami. Fl.
Responsible for direction and co-ordination of four (4) major Departments in assembly and manufacture of life rafts for aviation/marine industry. Departments include Cutting Operations (where equipment used includes state-of-the-art Gerber Cutter/Feeder), Sewing Department, Small Raft Assembly, and preparation of small parts sub-assemblies. In conjunction with main raft Final Assembly and Packing operations, have responsibility for setting up production and execution of schedules to meet all customer job orders. Responsible for all scheduling, co-ordination of personnel and equipment allocation and programming for these departments with total of 27 employees. Major support responsibilities include hiring and training of all production personnel from initial interviewing through indoctrination and training to be successful full time production employees.
Major accomplishments include maintenance of average production efficiencies of over 98% and average on-time shipping average of over 96%. Key member of ISO/ASO 9000 Program implementation team. Target ISO Certification date of October 2008. Major clients include Air-Bus, Boeing, and Continental and Avianca Airlines.
2005 – 2006 Symphony Medical Inc. Operations/Purchasing Manager Miami, FL.
Main responsibility was Direction of Operations and Purchasing for hospital bed and equipment Refurbishing and Repair Company. Responsible for all scheduling, coordination, personnel and equipment allocation and programming for 12-15 Technician facility. In coordination with Customer Service and Sales Departments was responsible for setting up production and execution of schedules to meet all Customer Job Orders. Main customers included main hospitals in Miami, FL and around country. Purchasing responsibilities covered all sourcing, purchasing, and allocation of materials to meet Production and Facilities requirements. Major accomplishment was being key member of management team in preparing and obtaining ISO9000 Certification for the company.

Responsible for direction of two major departments of lamp/lighting manufacturer. Production (metal shop operations) responsibilities include scheduling/allocation of personnel, equipment and materials for forming and assembly of all metal bodies required as main components for final assembly of lamps/chandeliers produced for major retail and hotel contract orders. 1999 – 2002 Decorama Desley Cortley Operations Manager Miami, FL.
In charge of all aspects of operations including administrative, customer service, manufacturing, and logistics. Facilities included buildings/offices totaling 48,000 sq.ft. and total personnel/staff of 180.Operation was one of largest custom-made drapery manufacturers in country. Sales generated were $12-14
million dollars per year.
1997 – 1999 Omni-Tech Gencorp Inc. Inventory/Receiving Manager Miami, Fl. Direction and coordination of all operations involving personnel, inventory/warehousing control,production control, incoming receiving, and special projects. Major company involvement in
sales/refurbishing major computer systems and maintaining extensive component parts inventory for client availlability. Major accomplishments included 80% re-structuring and layout of warehouse and achieving stock accuracy of average 95-97% in stock room. Selected by top management to assist in set-up and implementation of computer system to manage warehouse.

In charge of set-up and implementation of major sewing programs for top garment clients. Handled all aspects of program operations including planning, scheduling, and purchasing of all components/trims,

Managed production for textile mill knitting approximately 80,000 lbs. of fabric/week. In charge of all aspects of operations including personnel/equipment allocation, purchasing, scheduling, quality audits,
reporting, and fabric analysis.
