Jennifer Epifanio:
I am applying for a vacancy of teacher of the handicapped. My
application is being looked at from the New York Board of Education.
With a recent degree in Education and combined experience as a special
education teacher, both in the classroom and in private daycare, I
believe my qualifications and your requirements will match perfectly.
I graduated from Kean University with a degree focusing on special
education. I also attend Seton Hall University and received my
certificate in Autism Studies. I worked as a pre-k collaborative
special education teacher in Mahwah, NJ. I am also currently working
as a home instructional tutor. I worked as a long -term substitute
teacher. I worked as an instructional assistant with students who have
autism. I also worked as a pre-school teacher in the Newark School
District. I enjoy working with young children with disabilities and
helping them develop social skills and self-esteem.
I am interested in moving to your district where I can work in a small
group setting and employ my classroom management skills.
The accompany resume offers a brief overview of my education and
experience, and demonstrates what I can offer your school. I believe
it would be mutually beneficial for us to meet and discuss your goals
and see how I can help you meet them. Please call me at your earliest
convenience to set up an appointment.
I look forward to speaking with you soon.
Cordially,
Vaishali Shah
