• Responsible for protein purification development and production for four biopharmaceutical programs (2 currently)
• Played key role in Factor VIIa program that led to a clinical candidate nomination in 1 year (clinical candidate and back-up compounds were partnered with Pfizer)
• Developed protein expression and purification processes for the Factor VIIa program (mammalian system)
• Developed automated protein purification methods for the various programs on either the AKTA Pilot, Purifier or Express
• Refolded and purified hundreds of protease variants from inclusion bodies expressed in E. coli for both in vitro and in vivo studies
