Senior Sales Training Consultant
In this position I was responsible for overseeing the development of the training material taught in Colonial
College. My responsibilities included the following:
Provide consultation to the Regional Development Manager and AVP of Management Development in developing training strategies for Colonial's sales organization and implementing those strategies.
Assessed the on-going needs of the Regional Sales organizations and provide leadership to the Curriculum Development area in designing and developing the training components of the Colonial Life College curriculum.
Managed the use of external consultants and research and decide on selection tools and sales training vendor products & services to enhance the Colonial Life College curriculum.
Partnered with the Head of Customer Marketing to assure the Colonial Life Marketing System is integrated into the Colonial Life College curriculum and effectively train all sales professionals nationwide.
Partnered with the AVPs of Product Marketing to develop the training courses and support materials necessary to successfully train our sales organization on our new product releases.
Assured that courses in the Colonial Life College were delivered according to the calendar schedule and conduct train-the trainer for the Regional Development Managers and Regional Instructors.
Assured that Colonial Life College registration system and Continuing Education credits are in place to support the sales organization.
Developed and Agency Development Manager sales training curriculum.
Through a partnership with the AVP of Management Development, initiated management development programs and assist the AVP of Recruiting and Management Development in building agendas for National Sales meetings, and all National and Regional training schools.
Responsible for performing advanced technical training for Regional Instructors.
