SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
Over the past several years while on-site at a Caterpillar manufacturing plant I managed all of the indirect
spend related to production (a budget of $10 million/year with 7 direct reports). I implemented and refined
inventory distribution processes, (Kan Ban, POU) using my Six Sigma Green Belt training to reduce
waste, lower inventory and increase the speed of work resulting in strong sales growth and continued
business. I have completed LEAN training, a method to create value stream map and to dissect a work
process, looking for areas of improvement and waste reduction. I am proficient in IBM Cognos Business
Intelligence, SAS Business Analytics software and Hagemeyer’s home grown ERP system CONTROL.
Currently I work in Torrance, CA managing a $20 million budget with 9 direct reports. Instead of one
customer, I am the operations manager for all of Hagemeyer's customers in California and I work on
implementing new customers, inventory set up, distribution and logistics. My areas of exceptional
performance and passion are centered on process improvement.
