Senior Technical Writer

Since 2007, responsibilities as Technical Writer have included producing technical documentation, including writing and editing project documentation for the Combat Ammunition System (CAS). These updates include: editing manuals, 17 interface agreements, operator manuals, project documentation and other technical documentation for consistent application of technical terminology and company standard language and style, including copy editing for grammar, spelling, understandability, and usability. Interface with project engineers, functional support and management to design and improve documentation, to meet or exceed user requirements. Responsibilities have also included reviews and technical edits of documentation as needed.

Technical Writer/CMMI Specialist

As Technical Writer/CMMI Specialist, duties included providing documentation based on the SEI CMMI standards for the Cargo Movement System (CMOS). Worked with a team of six individuals to document, update and maintain processes for each of the twenty three individual process areas. Worked as one of seven team members on two formal assessments, SCAMPI-A and SCAMPI-B, which enabled the organization to obtain Level 3 CMMI. Configuration Management/Technical Writer

During the four years of service, duties included and not limited to Technical Writing, Configuration Management, Software Quality Assurance, and Database creation/maintenance. As a Configuration Management System Administrator, responsibilities included resolving configuration management issues associated with product releases of maintenance programs which are responsible for tracking ammunition for accountability at all four Combat Ammunition System (CAS) echelons of the US Air Force using military standards and SSG standards. Worked closely with Development and Quality Assurance to define and implement procedures for releasing products throughout the product life cycle. As a Technical Writer, responsibilities included working with software engineers in order to maintain and create deliverable documentation for the Combat Ammunition System. Worked with team and customer in order to update and maintain requirements. Assisted EDS team in achieving CMM level 3 in Fall of 1998
