Internally Funded Construction Projects:

• Developed “Request for Proposals” documents, including scope of work, schedule, budget, and liquidated damages

• Evaluated submitted proposals and selected contracting firms

• Managed project from schematic design to closeout

• Responsible for keeping senior management apprised of problems related to schedule or budget impacts

Project Listing, Description, and Status

• Parks Conservancy Maintenance building. New, state of the art maintenance facility within residential tower. LEED building.

• Artificial Turf Ball Fields. Conversion from natural to artificial turf occurred between Little League Baseball and fall Soccer seasons. Project was under budget, and only one week late due to hurricane Irene.

• Community Center. Brand new, LEED rated facility with numerous amenities, including competition pool, adjustable height small pool, gymnasium, fitness center, classroom, dance studios, and a ball field maintenance facility.

• Pier A Renovation for the City of NY.

• Regatta renovation and fit-out. Completely renovated space Authority leases to accommodate growing security and site management staff currently located in Regatta (21 South End Ave.). Completed on time and within budget.

• Wagner Park Extension. Re-designed park to better accommodate the East Wing Expansion of The Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust. Redesign included de-mapping a city street and inclusion of security measures. Project was under budget.

• Teardrop Park South. In conjunction with development of site 16/17, created a park that is situated within the confines of the U shaped residential building.

Externally Funded Construction Projects:

• Evaluate developers’ proposals and make recommendation for selection

• Represent Battery Park City Authority at job meetings

• Ensure project meets Authority’s guidelines and criteria

• Assist project team with meeting regulations and requirements

• Coordinate with regulatory and governmental officials on behalf of project

Project Listing, Description, and Status

• Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust East Wing Expansion. 80,000 sf expansion more than tripled museum’s size. Project was the first construction project to start in Lower Manhattan after the 9/11 attacks. Wing is now open to the public with construction completed.

• World Financial Center Wintergarden repair. Member of project team that completely renovated Wintergarden within one year after terror attacks. Completed.

• Rector Street Pedestrian Bridge. Provided a safe means for pedestrians to cross West Street. Completed.

• Vesey Street Pedestrian Bridge. Provide a safe means for pedestrians to cross West Street, to coincide with opening of temporary PATH station at WTC site.

• Site 2A Development. Selected private developer for residential building. Construction is complete (32 stories) and has complied with Authority’s “Green Guidelines”.

• Site 16/17 Development. Selected private developer for 31 story residential building. Development is topped out, and is in compliance with Authority’s “Green Guideline”. Construction is complete.

• Scheduled all production for department based on product inventory levels, customer orders, and raw material deliveries.

• Developed, implemented, and maintained Safety program, including employee training and documentation.

• Developed and managed capital budget for entire plant (including the construction of new underground storage tanks, above ground storage tanks, thermal oxidizer, and installation of radically different mixers).
