Selected Accomplishments:

Datran US:

• Used Lean Sigma methodology (DMAIC) as problem resolution tool to identify rootcause of contamination in paint layers, presented findings to plant manager, and began implementing corrective actions.

• Performed PFMEA on hydrographics tank in effort to reduce defects and achieve a higher first run past rate.

• Developed downtime logs for each department and complied information into a detailed spreadsheet, presented information to department heads, and rootcauses were determined and corrective actions put in place.

• Implemented 5S in maintenance shop and production areas.

• Accepted additional responsibility of managing production preparation and assembly departments.

BMW Manufacturing Corporation:

• Managed installation of automated color measurement cell, that included three different technologies on one robot, and conveyor integration. Developed programs to check for correct color match, for correct film thickness and for overall appearance of painted surface. Provided necessary training and guidance to facilitate

successful on the job training for involved associates. Developed work instructions and safety procedures.

• Developed and implemented a plan to reduce cleaning cost for the pretreatment vehicle carrier system for a cost savings of 75,000 per year.

• Performed detailed risk analysis on suppliers for potential product change over. Developed matrices, analyzed production capacities and capabilities, logistic concerns and environmental regulations to assist Senior Management in the decision making process.

• Developed and implemented a plan to reduce material, parts, waste and associate costs involving cross functional production processes for a savings of $300,000 per year.

DataStream Systems Inc:

• Accepted a project with status of being over budget and behind schedule and led a team comprised of Specialists and Consultants to completion with minimal loss and within specified time period designated by upper management.

WestPoint Stevens:

• Managed installation of a $500,000 finishing dye dispensing and a $600,000

print color dispensing systems.

• Assisted Plant Engineer with design and installation of a $1.2 million cloth finishing machine and a $500,000 dye dispensing system.

• Planned and developed a predictive maintenance program and audit program which aided in meeting corporate goal of reducing and keeping down time to 2% or less.

• Increased plant through put by implementing TPM principles and improving equipment availability.

• Managed development and construction of dye delivery and mixing center. Project included all piping, pumping systems, electrical and area preparation tasks. Completed on time and with in budget constraints given.
