December, 1989- February 1991:

Ran a crew of five employees and did coordination with sub contractors. Company merged with another residential company and phased out Tenant Improvement division…so I started my own company.
Key Projects:
Building a Shopping Mall called Green Street Commons under budget by 5%
Fireside Hearth and Home Stores
Minnesota School of Business on time and under budget.
Utah Career College constructed on time and under budget.
Completed several Globe University projects all on time and under budget.
Oversaw the construction of an 50,000 sq ft building despite material delays, architectural design challenges and unforeseen sub contractor disputes.
100% project completion while meeting strict timelines and budget requirements
Enforced company policies and project safety regulations.
I have done comprehensive planning, interior layout; CAD drawings for permit submittal, bidding, managing all related sub-contractors, scheduling, customer relations and coordination with property management/property owners and tenants. In the past nine years, I have put together a total of 100 different types of retail stores ranging from Half Price Books to restaurants such as Sushi-Man Japanese Steak House, tanning salons, hair salons, jewelry stores and more. The most challenging for design and layout was Paradise Bay Tanning Salon. The building of one of the company’s salon was over a $250,000 in design and layout work. This type of salon had different power requirements as all of the beds were of European origin. The voltage use ranged from 236 volt 3 phase all the way up to 418 volt 3 phase. This particular store was the first of five that I have built for this company. It has a unique HVAC system that was specifically designed by me and my HVAC subcontractor to meets the needs of these High Output beds to cool specific rooms while maintaining even heat/cool through out the remaining store.
