OBJECTIVE:

Position as an engineering technician, field service engineer, or service representative. Intend to utilize proven troubleshooting, logic planning, team leadership, and project management skills. Will draw on previous experience working with Allen Bradley dealers and expertise with PLC (1774), PLC 2 (Mini P/C - 2/30), PLC 3, and PLC 5 series.

CEC CONTROLS, Detroit, Michigan, January 1989 – 2009

- Direct/remain accountable for electrical start-up and de-bugging of PLC controlled power and free, overhead, and floor conveyors.

- Work closely with electrical contractor to advise of control specifications.

- Coordinate subcontractors' installation of control panels.

- Work with mechanical crews during initial system testing.

- Provide software planning, installations, start-up/commissioning debugging and standby, user training, and technical maintenance training.

- Implement/guide programming changes.

- Installation and Debug

- Supervise control panel installation from arrival through system installation.

- Monitor electrical and mechanical contractors to ensure proper hook-up of sensors and actuators (input/outputs).

- User/Technical Training

- During standby phases, train plant maintenance personnel on operation of new system.

- Direct and lead both classroom and hands-on training.

- Programming

- Write new or modify existing PLC (programmable logic controller) software to operate automotive conveyors and machines.

- Use experience with Allen Bradley: PLC, PLC 2 (Mini P/C through 2/30) PLC 3, and PLC 5 (5/30, 5/40, 5/60). Also attended GE Series Six training course Charlottesville, VA .
