WORK EXPERIENCE
Human Resources Administrative Assistant
• Assist Benefits Manager with Open Enrollment for a top Nursery Company. Conduct and process audits with excellence accuracy and generate MS-Excel reports to management for review.
• Assist with data-entry, originate MS-Excel spreadsheets. Follow instructions from Project Management with process and administration of 900 new hire open requisitions into new software upgrade Taleo-'06.
• Assist the HR Service center and document control, data entry into company custom HR Software, of status change forms (HRIA), employee performance reviews, Leave of Absence processing and entry MS-Excel databases, and support the worker’s compensation administrator with record keeping.
• Multi-task oriented. Preparing, organize and maintain documentation for Human Resources files. Administration of active and terminated employee files. Conduct new hire orientation and safety at work training programs. Responsible for employee acknowledgment documents and the explanation and implementation of company policies. Benefits administration, Leave of Absence and Status Change records, assist and support production managers and supervisors from all departments. Data entry in ROI system manufacturing software, ABRA-Suite, applicant track, verification letters, interview schedules. Assist the Human Resources Manager, achieving with positive remarks, full support to other facilities in the East Coast and Middle West with all HR support and training.
Safety Coordinator
• Responsible for all safety administration and support the Human Resources Department with all HR duties. Multi-task oriented, conduct and organize monthly safety meetings, employee safety committee, safety awards and weekly safety inspections. Training employees in forklift, emergency response, first-aid, personnel protective equipment and all safety training programs. Assistant to the Director of Human Resources department preparing, organize, and maintain documentation for Human Resources files and administration of active and terminated employee records. Conduct new employee orientations, implement company policies, safety guidelines, and generate MS-Excel reports, OSHA300-A forms and record keeping of Worker’s Compensation record-files. Maintain contact with the medical group and ensure a safe level of operations throughout the largest producer of carpets in the West Coast.
