Qualifications:
The better part of my career as a licensed officer has been spent in Alaskan waters, the most treacherous in the world. I’ve over 1000 transits of The Inside Passage to Alaska and well over 200 transits of the Gulf of Alaska. I am an expert ship handler under extreme weather conditions and an expert pilot in treacherous near shore waters and voyage planner over non standard routes and extended expeditions. I have also worked as a Marine Surveyor and Marine Incident Investigator and Expert Witness on behalf of Attorneys for plaintiffs and defendants, involved in admiralty Litigation over the last 20 years, when I wasn’t serving aboard ships.
