Description:

STAAD. Pro is a graphical model generation utilities as well as text editor based command for creating the mathematical model. Beam and column members are represented using lines. Walls, slabs and panel type entities are represented using triangular and quadrilateral finite elements. Solid blocks are represented using brick elements. These utilities allow the user to create the geometry, assign properties, orient cross sections as desired, assign materials like steel, concrete, timber, aluminum, specify supports, apply loads explicitly as well as have the program generate loads, design parameters etc.

Final Project:

Title: Design of Multi-storied building

Place: RAMKY INFRA STRUCTURES, BANGLORE

Duration : one month

Software used: STADD pro, auto cad

Description: MULTI STOREYED BUILDINGS construction results in economical use of land. It also accommodates large numbers of people in area, compared to a traditional residential building in the same area. This avails a large proportion of open space for creating natural environments, ensures better day lighting and great air glow, as well as freedom from street noise at same time there are some demerits like uninhabited glow of traffic, parking difficulties, pumping of water supplies and also social problems.
