Academic Project: LINEAR ACCELERATION TRANSMITTER

Undergone live project in “Bharat Electronics Limited” (Ministry of Defence)

Description:

Linear Acceleration Transmitter (LAT) is mainly used in the area of defence. During battle/war, the tank practically moves towards the target and whenever a tank moves on a slope surface, the position of the gun changes and dislocating the target. In order to overcome this problem, LAT is being used in the tank.

The purpose of LAT is used to give a feedback signal to compensate the effect of gravity on turret at inclined plane. This feedback signal makes the turret to rotate in a uniform speed. It is mainly used in tank stabilization and it is used to stabilize view to commander. It will be turned on only in slope surfaces and acceleration force acting on turret and it will make the gun position stable without dislocating the target.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT:

Visited ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation), kerala.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Undergone in-plant training in the field of ELECTRONIC DEPARTMENT at CHENNAI PORT TRUST

Successfully took part in organizing EL’WAR 2K11, a national level technical symposium conducted in our college.

Participated in NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM at various colleges
