Manage the planning/execution of major gift solicitation, (including six and seven figure requests); As part of the senior staff, advise the Dean and department heads in determining fundraising priorities; Conduct prospect research to identify major gift donors; Draft and submit proposals to individuals and corporations/foundations; Cultivate and build relationships with key constituencies; Ensure the proper stewardship of donors; Supervise support staff

Accomplishments of the Jones College under my leadership:

• Stewardship of the Universities largest gift of 1.25 Million for Entrepreneurship program

• Procurement of annual and major gifts resulting an all time high of $624,446 (FY10)

• Established relationships with key faculty members allowing us to cultivate and solicit alumni and business leaders in their area of expertise

• Member of University Development team that increased alumni giving from $4,170,000 to $8,653,099.(FY2009-FY2011)

• Implemented first ever faculty/staff giving campaign which resulted in an increased participation and donations in the Jones College

• Lead contact for Dean Burton’s Advisory Board and other cultivation outlets

• Successfully coordinated large alumni and donor recognition events

• Secured a $250,000 planned gift agreement

• Developed a five year strategic development plan to help the Jones College strive to collect $1,000,000 annually for an upcoming major capital campaign. Plan included: priority/needs list, Jones College development plan through 2015, and prospect list of 150 major gifts.
