In charge of more than $47 million residential development projects. Manage two major residential projects (condominiums) and midrise residential buildings in NYC, acting both as a Construction Project Manager and Construction Superintendent. Manage the construction progress, quality and cost control. Review and approve all subcontracts and their coordination. Generate the daily, biweekly and monthly reports. Close coordination with A/E and investors. Comply with local authorities of NYC and NYC building codes and site safety.

Coordinated and directed $16.1 million Government Assistance to Returns in Kosova project that included 1,300 houses for refugees, and complete infrastructure development (government buildings, schools, hospitals, roads, bridges, water and sanitation systems). Managed budget, operating costs and change orders. Conducted daily site inspections, evaluated projects, reviewed and approved new project proposals and construction progress. Supervised engineering teams for UNDP/UNOPS. Generated weekly and monthly Government Assistance to Returns technical reports, and compiled technical specifications and procedures to meet UNDP regulations.

Directed $2+ million Domestic Water Meter Installation Program in the central region of Kosova for European Agency for Reconstruction (EAR). Regional Construction Manager/Project Controls Manager
In charge of over 120 design/construction projects under the auspices of $14+ million USAID Infrastructure Services Program. Included road projects, water and sewage networks, high voltage power lines, streetlights, and public and government buildings. Developed construction and project procedures according to ISO 9001 standards, hired staff, and trained national employees on construction management practices. Managed team of 25 engineers and inspectors who reviewed designs, conducted project quality assurance, verified payment process, and advised subcontractors. Performed cost estimating, and scheduled reports.
Recognized as USAID 2002 Employer of the Year, and Kosova Government’s Most Motivated Project Manager (2002).
Successfully completed construction of water intake project in Peja, Kosova 20 days ahead of schedule, and under extreme mountain conditions (2000 meters above sea level and no access road). Organized subcontractors to transport materials using horses.
Led construction of $2.5 million, 10-story government building for public services, implementing master scheduling program, which measurably expedited schedule completion and compliance.
