• Utilize music therapy techniques such as: recorded music, active music listening, song writing, lyric analysis, creative arts and music, relaxation, drum circles, improvisation, and music performance with mentally ill patients in a maximum security unit.
• Co-facilitate rehabilitation groups: Independent Living Skills, Leisure Awareness, Computer, Wellness/Fitness, as well as various weekend recreational activities.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team consisting of medical doctors, psychologists, social workers, technicians, and nurses.
• Participate in and design individual patient goals within a Master Treatment Plan.
