I am writing to apply for the Part-time Registered Dietitian position. I completed the ADA accredited Dietetic

Internship at Utah State University and my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics- graduated Cum Laude

at California State University, Long Beach.

Four years of experience in clinical setting, where I worked and a volunteer in local hospitals, six years of

experience as a Community Ambassador Volunteer in American Red Cross, plus four years of experience in sales

and customer service, are part of my experiences that strengthen my skills in listening, collaboration,

communication, and customer service to meet patient and customer needs. Highlights of additional knowledge,

skills, and activities include:

-Strong knowledge in medical nutrition therapy

-Experience in working in long-term care facility and with geriatric population

-Excellent leadership skills (graduated from Leadership Academy, Cal-State Long Beach)

-Ability to work independently, in a team and in fast-paced environment

-Experience with participating in interdisciplinary group meetings and collaborate with patient care team

members to provide best nutrition care to patients

-Experience with conducting nutrition screening, assessment, evaluation, planning nutrition care,

counseling and education of clients and patients

-Experience with in-service training, creating educational materials and developed lesson plans to promote

good nutrition, healthy food choices, and regular physical activity

-Experience with developing cycle menu for therapeutic diets

-Expert in computer skills

-Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English and Vietnamese

nutrition services to patients, clients, and members in the community. I enjoy working as a dietitian because I feel

that I can make a difference in people’s lives.
