• Using Sharepoint Developer 7 and 10 to create new Sharepoint applications as well as modify the existing applications.

This company was in the process of closing business, and I helped them finish their unfinished Lotus Notes work with their various clients. The company used to bring the unfinished/problematic Lotus Notes applications to me, and I was helping them out as follows:

• Involved in bug fixing of the eWorkFlow application. These workflow applications were developed for Notes client and server. These applications were sending email to the administrator to report status of server or client task.

• Used JavaScript for the form validation and for various UI functionality.

• Gave data transfer solutions between disparate database systems using Lotus LEI interface.

• Gave Domino web application support using Java, JavaScript, HTML and Lotus Script.

IT ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER

As an IT Engineer, developed Domino tools for mail template and Email archiving. I worked closely with system analysts, developers, and department managers. Projects included Mail template, Email archiving, desktop manager roll out, automatic ID creation, iNotes implementation, 2nd and 3rd level support to server and client infrastructure and administrative support to development environment for versions 4.x,5.x, 6.5x and 7.x

• Developed server side workflow application (using Lotus script, Notes c & c++, LCconnection classes), which automated ID creation and disaster recovery processes. This application was auto emailing the process status to administrators and security team. This application saved 75% of system administrator’s time.

• Daily administration of local and internet mail systems.

• Designed and implemented System architecture for iNotes and disaster recovery projects. Developed the iNotes user interface.

• Developed an automated process for a client machine using Lotus script and Notes C API for the creation of the local archive. To automate the backup of local archive on user’s home server, developed Domino tool using Lotus script, Notes C API and deployed it on each mail server. This freed up 80 terabytes of space on the mail servers.

• Products tested for quality assurance and documented all software information. This helped in a speedy and flawless deployment of products in the infrastructure.

• For all in-house developed software, was involved in getting business requirements and analysis of user requirements in terms of impact on existing infrastructure. This helped to reduce development time and after deployment of the software, had no impact on infrastructure.

• As an IT Engineer, customized mail template to address a replication performance issue faced by 3,000 mobile users worldwide. The issue addressed using Lotus script and Windows API for network cards. This saved 5 minutes per user per week.
