Project #1 : Exception Management – Retail Lock Box (Product).

Client : HSBC Bank, Buffalo (USA).

Functional Description:

Retail Lockbox – is a lockbox account owned by some client where in the customers of that particular clients can drop in the cheques and remits for the client.

Exception Management for Retail Lockbox is a system which reads all the cheques and produces a list of exceptions with the scanned image of the cheques/remits which has discrepancies in the name, amount, cheque number. The details collected are sent to the Exception Management Backend system to store the data in the databases and to present the data to the frontend users (Clients’ Users) when requested. Whenever the user (Clients’ user) want to access the data for a particular cheque number he enters the data and the request comes to backend, Backend identifies the type of request and responces the user with the data and the image of the cheque.

There is a MQ link between BE and the FE.

Project #2 : Exception Management – Positive Pay (Product).

Client : HSBC Bank, Buffalo (USA).

Functional Description:

Positive Pay – Positive Pay is an efficient way of reducing the potential for cheque fraud and technical errors. The Exception Management system for Positive Pay manages the exceptions for the Positive Pay. Once the cheques have been issued by the business, a cheques issued data file is sent to HSBC. The cheques issued data file is matched against cheques as they are presented to the HSBC for payment, by validating sort code, account number, serial number, and amount and date fields. Potentially fraudulent alterations are identified at the early stage, significantly reducing the risk of an attempted fraud being successful.

Humana Inc is one of the Leading Health Insurance Company in America.

The primary requirement I have worked developing a system in which we send reports to different vendors like MEDCO, ARGUS, OPTUM, CON PLUS. The reports we send to vendors is the claims data of the customers. Then the vendors after adjudicating the reports sends them back to us (Humana).

Functional Description:

ABN AMRO is one of the Leading Dutch bank. The primary requirement I have worked developing a Data Service that gets data from front end web enabled pages and based on the input through web pages the Online MPP program(data service) is invoked along with other necessary batch modules(batch services) does Branding of Customers, Clients. Based on the customer number, contract number, and client number the data service assigns the branding code per customer/per client/per contract.

This application operates both online and in batch mode. Branding is basically assigning a three digit code to the customers which will decide to which Business office they belong to.

Project #5 : SI Claims Processing System.

Client : Selective Insurance Group, NJ (USA).

Role & Activities : As a team member, I was responsible for;

Doing Unit testing and finally involved in Production implementation.

Selective Insurance Company of America is one of the leading insurance companies in USA. SICPS is a statistical Analysis and reporting package, which validate input received from front-end and stores error free data.

SICPS interfaces with all the underwriting system (Property Insurance, vehicle Insurance, Workers Compensation, all lines-commercial) Automated claims system and almost all other automated systems. This information is thoroughly validated by SICPS system and finally stored.
