Electrical Buyer and Electrical Designer in Training – AutoCAD 2003

Under the supervision of the electrical engineer, I purchased all electrical materials for ongoing construction of blast-rated and marine classified structures. At one time, there were five on-going projects to purchase for at one time, and during my tenure as electrical buyer, none of the projects were late as a result of materials acquisition. I established and maintained healthy working relationships with up to eight electrical suppliers at once, and evaluated those relationships for the benefit of LSMS.

Working under the tutelage of the Electrical Engineer, I also captured all designs and changes in ongoing construction projects, as well as made changes from the red lines returned from the client.

Carpenter, Estimator, Procurement, and Job Lead, Roger’s Handyman Svc., Friendswood,Tx. Aug. 2009-Jan 2012:

Using my teen experiences under my father as a home builder, I was hired by Roger to assist and finally lead his crews in home remodeling. I helped estimate and procure the materials for the various jobs, so I was in almost constant contact with our clients pertaining to work being done on their homes, while they were still living there. Also, I dealt with crew members that often grated on each other’s patience for each other under often hot, dirty, uncomfortable conditions. As an amateur networker, I was also Roger’s go to man for customers who wanted their homes’ networks to be worked on or created. I left for my present job in a time of very little work, though he calls me for part time work occasionally.
