Projects Delivered:

• Physical site survey to determine appropriate cable routes and location for network elements and infrastructures like manholes, cross connection cabinets, distribution points, etc.

• Testing and acceptance of Optic fiber cable network using OTDR (Optical time-domain reflectometer) and Power Meter with a light source.

• Test and acceptance tests of the Copper cable network including Continuity, Loop resistance and Insulation tests.

• Ducting, blowing, splicing, and termination of fiber and copper cables.

• DDF port allocation for POTs and ADSL lines for subscribers.

• Adequate jointing and closure of joints using Raychem and Universal closures

• Material management, ensuring timely delivery of materials to contractors on site and efficient usage of those materials

• Validation of quoted prices on the Bill of Quantity by adequate comparison with current market price.

• Proper termination at MDF, CCP (cross connection cabinets) and DPs (distribution points), earthing and other necessary protections as applicable.

• Planning, Logistics & Implementation of all OSP and related issues.

• Inspection of OSP Networks in a major city.

• Daily monitoring & prevention of faults on the fixed wired network.

• Supervision of fault correction when they do occur.

• Supervision of POTS and ADSL installation from the Distribution Points up to subscriber premises, using drop wire (L-244 cables) and overhead cables (figure -8) as applicable.

• Acceptance test on all new cable jobs.

• Random continuity tests on cables from MDF to CCPs
