Environmental
• Ensured plant level Environmental programs, policies, procedures and systems were developed, implemented and sustained to ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and corporate regulatory requirements.
• Implemented and managed a no-landfill recycling program.
• Prepared and submitted all required environmental permit applications/renewals and routine agency reports, e.g., Ohio EPA, CERCLA, SARA, RCRA. • Managed all plant waste disposal activity to ensure compliance with applicable regulations; including hazard and risk assessment and radiation safety. Developed and implemented both preventative and abatement strategies.
• Developed/maintained plant emergency response plans and ensured drills were performed to document plan effectiveness.
• Responsible for the coordination of emergencies concerning the release of hazardous materials, fire, explosion, natural disaster or any other emergency requiring response or coordination with outside agencies.
• Identified requirements and provided all Environmental training for facility, including salary and hourly personnel. Ensured required employee environmental training was completed on-time and documented.
• Managed MSDS system and new chemical procurement process review for suitability.

Safety & Health
