Title : Meshing of Jaquar,Door trim,fascia bumper,hrs ,cnsl cvrbox glove i/o.

Description : The IGES file was imported in ANSA. First the geometry clean up was made.

Maintaining mesh flow direction, minimum element length criteria and other specifications Finally the FE model was checked for free edges and normals carried out 2D meshing

Software Used : ANSA.

Title : Meshing of console frt and some plastic as well as sheet metal components.

Description : The IGES file was imported in ANSA, and the geometry clean up was done.

To generate the middle surface and set PID as per the thickness and 2D meshing was carried out by maintaining mesh flow direction, minimum element length criteria and other specifications .Finally the FE model was checked for free edges and normal.

Software Used : ANSA.

Title : Meshing of door trim, connecting rod, chassis-rail, crane hook, wheel, truck bed.

Description : The IGES file was imported in Hypermesh. and the geometry clean up was done.2D meshing was carried out by maintaining mesh flow direction, minimum element length criteria and other specifications. Finally the FE model was checked for free edges and normals.

Software Used : Hypermesh.

ACADEMIC PROJECT DETAILS

Title: Two axes solar tracking system

. Description: The main objective of the project is to collect the solar light from sunrise till sunset in both horizontal and vertical directions, so as to increase the efficiency of the solar panel and hence to produce more electrical energy.

We used 2 DC motors of 10 rpm to track the sun and 6 LDR’s(light dependent resistors) to sense the sun light. These 6 LDR’s were connected to the 8 bit microcontroller and output from the microcontroller connected to the DC motors. Depending on the signals from LDR microcontroller turn the motors accordingly.

Parabolic reflector was used to collect sun rays and focus the reflected rays to the solar panel. Manufacturing of the project model and collecting data to make a report.
