Resume:

Dear Recruiter:

I am writing to apply for this credit analyst position. I believe that I

possess traits and professional characteristics that go beyond that

immediately visible in my resume. While I am very proficient technically

and I possess strong business skills, I am highly self-motivated,

hard-working, very likable and easy to get along with and I form good

working relationships readily.

I studied finance in both college and graduate school. I have training in

derivatives, risk management, corporate finance, accounting, and financial

statement analysis. I have internship experience in financial analysis in a

big commercial bank in China and data analysis in a brokerage firm in

Downtown Chicago where I worked at the Chicago Board of Trade as a floor

runner. I passed CFA Level I which covers broad knowledge of finance and

investments.

I am a self-motivated and organized person. Since I deal with financial

reports and data, I pay close attention to detail and I make schedules and

time lines for projects. I have strong communication and writing skills.

During graduate school and internships I made many presentations and wrote

internal reports that were used by the respective organizations.

I am proficient in Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Bloomberg. I am

comfortable using computer skills to automate functions and save time such

as VBA and statistical packages. As a native of China, Mandarin is my first

language, though obviously I am fluent in English and have interfaced with

various aspects of business culture and professionals in New York and the

U.S.

Thank you for your time, and please reach out for any more information. I

hope you will take my application with strong consideration and to be

selected to meet and discuss whether this is the right fit.

Sincerely,

Rui Lin
