• R&D Technician:

Chemically disperse clays, ores and sludges using various analytical techniques specific to mining. Records percent solids and pH. Safely operated numerous high speed grinding and mixing equipment to achieve desired mixes. Document results using spreadsheet and word documents. Recycle wastewater using different flocculants to separate water from solids. Dry solids for disposal.

• Disposed of waste solvents to meet EPA, EPD, and OSHA guidelines prepare hazardous liquids for shipping and review the information to determine that names, addresses and phone numbers to which the package is to be sent are correct, coordinate shipping point for filled containers and the destination of the filled containers.

• Order hazmat supplies. enter product information onto database of samples shipped. Expedite shipments of processed sample pails, jars, and bottles.

Viscometer, specific gravity, (picnometer method) Lab wave 9000 Moisture Balance Hamilton Beach mixers, Hercules Highs hear viscometer & Brookfield, also used auto titration, analytical balances, turbidometer, centrifuges, and other laboratory instruments as it relates to methods.
