As a Area Sales Manager for Maharashtra,Goa & Gujarat.K.S.OILS did not have any operation in Maharashtra,so my initial job was to acquire different licenses for edible oil business for CFA Depots at Mumbai & Pune.We appointed Distributors all over Maharashtra & Mumbai Region & launched K.S.OILS Kalash Ref.Soya Oil,Kalash Kacchi Ghani Mustard Oil & Double Sher Mustard Oil all over Maharashtra & Mumbai. Our specific strategy developed to achieve leadership in Mustard Oil market was highly successful & within a span of one year we achieved phenomenal market share in Mustard Oil market. I am full conversant with all legal formalities required to be completed & maintained for Food /Edible Oil business.
Started from scratch (From getting various Govt. & local bodies licenses) created Sales & Distribution network,launched Kalash Ref.Soya oil,Kalash Kacchi Ghani Mustard oil & Double Sher Mustard oil & achieved market leadership in K S OILS LTD.My role is as a profit center head in K.S.OILs LTD.

OKAYA is a highly QUALITY conscious manufacturers of power storage Batteries.OKAYA is a widely Advertised Brand in INDIA, a very aggressive & ambitious organization .I joined OKAYA as a Area Sales Manager & created a very Influential network of Distributors & Field staff.OKAYA wish to be on NO.1 or 2 in storage Batteries Industry.

Recon was known for its COCOCARE BRAND COCONUT OIL, Which was sold to HLL,after selling Cococare, Companies other Brands do not had considerable market in Maharashtra & sales & distribution was closed down.
In March 2002, Recon invited me to join as of Area Sales Executive for Maharashtra & Goa to create a Sales & Distribution Network with the help of Tilsona (Til oil) & Tez (Mustard oil) Brands. Above Brands were Premium Brands. I joined RECON as a first employee of Maharashtra & Goa operation, created total Sales & Distribution Network, Launched above Brands all over maharashtra & Goa.Earlier Recon Distributors used to get 15 Days credit facility, but with my tenure Recon started dealing with Advance payment system. Today’s Recon’s Tilsona Brand Til Oil & Tez Brand Mustard oils are Brands Leaders in its products segments in Maharashtra & Goa & are available in all major Modern Formats & all A Class & B Class outlets across the State of Maharashtra & Goa. In March 2002 I started from a scratch & today we have 65 Distributors & a Sales Team of 11 people to manage the Sales & Distribution in Maharashtra & Goa & our products are Market Leaders in its segment.
3) Joined Kamani Oil Industries as an “Area Sales Manager” for Maharashtra State, from 5th February, 1997.
Kamani Oil Industries is one of the Old & most esteemed Edible Oils Manufacturing Companies of India known for superior quality oil products. The list of their Institutional customers like Parle Biscuits, Britannia Biscuits, Kwality Ice Cream, Hotel Oberoi, S.M.Foods etc. talks about their goodwill in Edible oil Industries.
Job & Responsibilities) Being a old manufacturer of KAMANI brand edible oils, the nature of business was just like Trading. I introduced pricing strategy & price structure with in built Trade Schemes for Consumer packs.
ii) Created Effective C&F & Distributors network all over Maharashtra & Goa. Appointed area wise sales Force & arranged Induction program to impart Training to sale Edible oils creating Brand awareness on Retail counters.
iii) Introduced very effective changes in Product Packing which helped KAMANI to consolidate its market profile & helped to generate wide acceptance in retail counter as well as by the Consumers.
iv) During my tenure we launched Kamani Brand Coconut Oil with added features, Kamani Brand Filtered Ground Nut Oil, Refined Sunflower Oil, & Palm Oil, which made Wide impact on edible oil market in Maharashtra.
Kamani’s all products’ are successfully launched in Maharashtra & Goa & enjoy Respectable market Share.
2) Joined M/S Shri Niranjan Ayurved Bhaven Ltd, as a Area Sales Executive for Maharashtra from 5th June, 1995
Shri Niranjan was a public limited company, having 25 Years experience & expertise of manufacturing Herbal Products & was ready to launch a range of Herbal Health Care Product with a pretty amount of Media promotion budget. In August 1995, Shri Niranjan Ayurved Bhaven Ltd launched their “NIRANJAN” Brand 100% Vegetarian Herbal Dental Cream, (Toothpaste), which was UNIQUE in many ways to existing products in Indian market.
Job & responsibilities: i) Appointment of Distributors in Western Maharashtra, Konkan & Goa in given time frame. ii) Appointment of Field Staff at Different H Q’s & proper Induction & Training to Field Force.
iii) Planning Town wise Launching plan to ensure timely Launching of Product in all major towns in Co ordination with Master Launching Plan.
IV) Actual Launching of product in different Market & arrangement of Proper Displays & implementation of Trade Schemes. Daily observation of market off take & consumer behavior & necessary feedback to H O & corrective actions to achieve Targets. Planning & implementation of Below the Line Promotion activities

Product & Job/S Ahmed Mills was market leader in its product segment of Edible Oils and POSTMAN Brand Refined Groundnut Oil was most Popular Brand for Decades over all Indian Market along with other Brands of Oil, Vanaspati & Soaps & other Toiletries.
As a Sales Representative my Head Quarter was Pune & was in charge of AhmedNager, Nasik, Aurangabad, Bhir, Nanded, & Solapur District. Also during my five years Tenure as a Sales Representative, I worked at almost all headquarters /towns of Maharashtra and covered entire state (except Bombay).
My major functions were as under:
i)Our POSTMAN Brand Refined Oil was most popular Brand, so my main duty was to maintain maximum stock pressure on Retail counters by devising different Trade Schemes, during above period Hindustan Lever launched its Dalda Brand & Flora Brand Refined oils followed by I T C’s Sundrop Brand & Crystal brands Refined oils, so my main job to increase sales of our brands by taking advantage of additional Market for Refined oil created by heavy Electronic & Press media promotion by above major players in FMCG segment.
ii) Strive to achieve maximum Distribution in all towns under my control.
iii) Train stockiest salesman & ISR’s for Range selling.
iv) Ensure maximum visibility of our Products in Market I.e. arrange proper Display of our Product on Retail Counters.
v) Ensure sufficient Stock position & Pipeline stocks at each Distribution points.
From April 1st 1991 M/s Ahmed Mills promoted me as ‘Area Sales Supervisor for Maharashtra (area except Bombay Metro town.)

ii) Selection, appointment, induction, field training and direction to sales force and all functions relating to fixing of salesman’s headquarters & areas monthly /quarterly tour programs & journey cycles, arrangement of Field Force’s Monthly Meetings for Target & performance Review’s.Totel Co-ordination of Distribution Chain.
iii) During my tenure we appointed Stockiest/Distributors in almost all B & C class cities of Maharashtra & so to ensure efficiency & economy in Distribution we created a C & F Agent at pune from where Goods were supplied to all over Maharashtra, so it was my responsibility to appoint & manage the entire operation of C & f Depot at Pune.
During my nine years tenure with Ahmed Mills the sales of prime Brand POSTMAN recorded 500% Growth & also concentration on other oil & soap brands lead to Ten Times increase in sales & on Distribution front we took the no’s of Distributors to 90 from 36.
In April 1995 I Resigned from Ahmed Mills.
