Introduced the Baan ERP package to the Israeli market. Translated and customized it to fit specific needs. Established a satisfied customer base of 13 installations. Led the practice from 0 to 13 successful ERP implementations in under 3 years while positioning it as one of the ERP market leaders in the country.

Developed the Hebrew/Arabic language support for the package.

Partially specified the EDM (Engineering Data Management) module of Baan.

Defined and supervised the necessary customizations for the Israeli version of the package.

Carried out the presales activity, performing the major software demonstrations and pilots.

Directly managed 4 full-cycle Baan implementations and supervised 7 others.

Supervised smooth “transition” of “localizations” and customizations between software releases.

Aviv Consulting – Israel IS Line of Service Director 1989 - 1992

Built the IT consulting service in the company, growing it to from 5 to more than 50 consultants.

As the director of Information Services Line of Business of Aviv Consulting, personally managed one of the company’s most lucrative projects. It was an “in house” definition, development and implementation of a comprehensive Shop Floor Control System for a large subcontractor of Boeing and the Israeli Defense Industry. Designed the algorithm, the data structure, the screens, the reports and the associated paperwork.

The project was successfully completed on time, reducing significantly the customer products late shipments.
