Achievements:
As Credit Suisse AVP of Financial Control:
- Held the Controller’s role and its responsibilities of CSFB Mexico broker dealer for five years.
- Project leader of a three month process, where I modified and migrated the corporate setting of the broker dealer’s chart of accounts structure in compliance with the chart of accounts for Mexican’s broker dealers.
- Developed and implemented an in-house tool based on Excel to get different data from around 500 regulatory reports and make sure they were always properly submitted to the authorities. I also coordinated as a project leader an important enhancement of this tool based on visual basic program.
- Placed Credit Suisse Mexico entities in first position of the National Banking Commission grading range, which measures in a quarterly basis the accuracy of the regulatory information submitted by all the entities in the financial sector and also its timely manner.
As Credit Suisse ENO of Financial Control:
- Project leader of selecting and implementing the accounting and regulatory computer-based system for CSFB Mexico in compliance with the CSFB Group standards.
- Participated in the opening process of the Mexico subsidiary especially focused in the setting up phase of the accounting/finance general ledger system.
- Established different internal policies and procedures for the accounts payable area.
