Description:

The objective of this project is to select a part of the image and display on the other screen. For selecting the part of an image we use a rectangle cropper this is an adjustable rectangle.

MINIPROJECT:

Title: LOCATION SEARCH USING FLEX

Language of Implementation: Adobe Flex.

Description:

By using the Google Maps API, it is possible to embed the full Google Maps site into an external website. Developers are required to request an API key which is bound to the website and directory entered when creating the key. In this project we will integrate Google maps with Flex and communicate with the Google API. When a user clicks on any of the location on the Map he will get the relevant information and content related to the search instead of links.

MAIN PROJECT:

Title: A MEDICAL IMAGE ARCHIVE IN CLOUD

Description:

This project is to create a solution to the storage of long term Medical Image Archives using Cloud. Using Windows Azure we deploy the application on the cloud. DICOM server to store/query/retrieve requests, this intern stores the data onto the SQL Azure database using DICOM image indexer. A cloud is a virtual space available for the users to deploy their applications. A cloud service has three distinct characteristics that differentiate it from traditional hosting. It is sold on demand, typically by the minute or the hour; it is elastic- a user can have as much or as little of a service as they want at any given time; and the service is fully managed by the provider (the consumer needs nothing but a personal computer and Internet access). Significant innovations in virtualization and distributed computing, as well as improved access to high-speed Internet and a weak economy, have accelerated interest in cloud computing.

Team Size: Four Members.

My Role: To Create User Interface Components to upload images on a web page or via HTTP. Users can also search and browse archived DICOM images through a search page implemented in ASP.NET. This provides the convenient connectivity to non-DICOM client to upload, search and browse images.

Duration: 3Months.
