Position: Project Engineer. Tasks included estimating and buyout, scheduling, processing RFI’s, and pay apps. Worked directly from Kansas City office managing hospital renovation job in Hays, Kansas.

Position: Project Engineer. Reported to both the superintendent and project manager from working on job site. Tasks included helping coordinate and stage work for subs, updating and distributing plans, processing RFI’s, daily reports, and processing pay apps.

Worked as a cost estimator for EMC Insurance Company. Estimated building costs by analyzing surveys, plans, and photos. Created, updated, and tested excel programs and graphs to help determine insurance premiums for water and waste water treatment plants and various equipment.

Split time as an intern between being in the office and in the field. Helped prepare hard bid estimates by doing takeoff while in the office and also worked as a laborer while in the field.
