2008 to Present, Faxitron X-Ray, LLC, Lincolnshire, IL Manufacturing Supervisor (2009 to Present)
Promoted ahead of peers because of leadership background. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing department, which includes building both x-ray systems and the computers to go with them. Assisted in the maintenance of the company internal IT infrastructure. Managed the repair of x-ray systems and the proprietary computer software and hardware.
The position also functioned as the Quality Control Technician, inspecting the functionality of each system that was produced. This included creating metrics to track the quality of the product using Excel and Access. Designed a custom database to manage the manufacturing process using Microsoft SQL Server. Developed metrics for tracking cycle times and improving efficiency. During product upgrades, regression testing was performed to ensure the product still functioned normally.
Service Technician (2008 to 2009)
Demonstrated the ability to learn new tasks, maintained a positive attitude, and made the sacrifices necessary to get the job done. Responsibilities include maintaining all of Faxitron’s products, including the personal computers, maintaining positive relationships with customers, and helping manage the daily operations of the service department. Military History
1999 to 2005, Staff Sergeant (E-6), United States Army
As Headquarters Platoon Sergeant, the role was as the primary Non-Commissioned Officer in charge of managing the daily operations of the PATRIOT Missile Battery of approximately 85 soldiers. This included the long-term and short-term planning of training, projects, and overall logistics of the unit. Also, as the Platoon Sergeant, coordinated the daily activities of the Headquarters Platoon itself, which consisted of the office, maintenance, supply, and command personnel. Prior to being promoted to Platoon Sergeant, primary role was as the System Maintenance Section Chief. As Section Chief, the primary duties were in the preventative maintenance, repair, and support of $42 million worth of PATRIOT Missile equipment.
