Position: Senior HSE Advisor/Supervisor (Acted as HSE Deputy Manager)

Responsibilities:

• In charge of the entire HSE Management plan preparation and modification.

• Participates in the different technical meetings such as: HAZOP, HAZID, PHSER, SIMOPS and SIL Studies when required.

• Ensuring Legislations and other local regulations with regards to HSE are implemented.

• Attend management and other Site progress meetings.

• Ensure that the client specific HSE plan is implemented.

• Plan and monitor HSE Programmes.

• Advice the line managers, supervisors and subcontractors in the execution of their work so that the risks for safety and environment are As Low As Reasonable Practicable;

• Advice and support the construction team and subcontractors with the preparation and implementation of JSA’s and HSE Risk Inventory and Assessments;

• Report and investigate any incidents, accidents, damages and near misses in compliance with the relevant procedures to the client;

• Monitor waste management on the sites;

• Liaise with the security to ensure a safe and secured construction site;

• Maintain the Permit to Work system where applicable;

• Check the validity of qualifications from operators and drivers;

• Verify that equipment is properly inspected;

• Ensure that hoisting and lifting operations are done in a controlled manner in accordance with the procedures;

• Ensure that storage and working with dangerous goods is done in a controlled manner and in accordance with the procedures;

• Ensure that suitable PPE is being distributed and used including all personnel of subcontractors and visitors;

• Ensure safe traffic control;

• Identify and eliminate environmental harmful work practices and conditions at the workplace.
