Balfour Beatty Construction – September 2004 – October 2011
Goose Creek, SC – EH & S Manager for Navy Southeast Construction Project. Job duties include conducting inspections, training to include new hire and competent persons, handling Worker’s Compensation, OSHA and EPA recordkeeping, incident investigation. Project consists of building military housing units for Charleston Naval Weapons Station. Work includes excavation and trenching, concrete, framing, roofing and finish.
New London, CT – EH & S Manager for Navy Northeast Construction Project. Job duties include conducting site inspections, maintaining OSHA and EPA paperwork and records, handling Worker’s Compensation, conducting incident investigations. Project is multi-state ranging with locations in Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Charlotte, NC – EH & S Manager for Carolinas Medical Center Project. Project consists of building Central Energy Plant, Levine Children’s Hospital and Intensive Care Unit addition. Daily basic responsibilities include managing all aspects of the safety program such as new employee safety orientation, training sessions and tool box talks, inspections and walkthrough, safety committee, worker’s compensation and incident claims.

Indiana, PA – Grant Funded Program Director. Direct the Technology Safety Data Sheet (TSDS) project. Work with local companies and military installations to involve the TSDS in the workplace. Work with other agencies (DOE, Operating Engineers, OSHA, and Navy) in standardizing format and content of the TSDS. Developed training courses in forklift operator training and other areas and delivered to local businesses.
