Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Develops and support appropriate menu items, aiming to give customer maximum appeal by monitoring feedback forms. Monitoring and maintaining, a healthy food cost for individual outlet.

2. Sources for fresh quality food supplies, negotiates for lowest price and liaise with the suppliers for prompt delivery.

3. Prepares food and checks food quality, ensures consistency in taste, quantity, color, temperature and presentation of food.

4. Monitoring daily operation and ensuring optimal productive working system.

5. Trains and teaches staff on how to prepare items (s) on the menu. Ensuring that preparations are followed accordingly to the F&B manual.

6. Handles all kitchen staffing issues and feedback to F&B manager.

7. Ensures that the duties roster planned and my assistant chef is operationally efficient, whilst minimizing staff cost.

8. Ensure that kitchen staff maintain high standard of hygiene.

9. Good management of labor cost/budgets for all outlets.

10. To plan and manage training issues for franchisees.
