Collection of Air borne particulate samples using Portable digital battery operated Air sampler. ( Model DF-40L,F&J USA)

Pre-treatment, labeling & storage of samples (Air, Soil & Water) for radiometric analysis.

Assessment of gross gamma activity using NaI detector.

Identification & quantification of radionuclide (Natural & Fallout) by using HP (Ge) based Gamma Spectrometric System.

Radiochemical separation, identification & quantification of radionuclides by using beta radiometric system.

Determination of specific radioactivity concentration & risk assessment of radiation doses associated with these air-borne radioactive pollutants. Risk assessment due to the inhalation of radionuclides, may be estimated on the basis of ICRP.
