• Designed newsletters, and worked with sponsors. Managed events by finding venues, designers, and models. Provided marketing strategies such as tee shirt sells and fundraisers.

• Worked closely with Lazyzach.com Marketing team to create strategies and promotional events on campus. Performed market research and executed communication about website with University of Illinois students.
• Arranged in class presentations to create awareness, while communicating with administration and professors. Handled tasks of planning community projects for the interns.
• Influenced more than 50 users to create accounts through communications, increased website activity in Illinois region. Responsible for Facebook and Twitter accounts.

• Devoted time to work on public outreach tactics. Launched a fashion show with the latest shipments from top designers, including liaising with the local media.
• Monitored media coverage of the Bella Mia Boutique brand, including WCIA morning show. Originated press releases and media kits.

• Accepted over 100 inbound calls per day, creating and deleting Illinois pass Accounts. Provided accurate and timely solutions to customer queries, including I pass violations
• Identified, researched and resolved customer issues using a computer database at an average talk time of under 4 minutes. Explained policies, regulations and policy structure.
Teen Talk Radio Group
June 2008 -August 2008
Communications Intern
• Led 20 kids age 13 to 18 through an assimilated radio show, taught daily communication strategies and researched internet sources for content of the teen talk radio show.
• Prepared public service announcements and utilized recording equipment. Organized fundraiser and seminars for incoming students joining the organization for the following semester
• Developed and implemented programs to encourage student participation, including leadership training.
