Hello,
Please consider my application for your Designer position. I am an honors graduate receiving a Manufacturing Engineering Degree. I have exceptional math skills (taking honors calculus as a junior in high school), and am proficient at Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). I have mastered all aspects of the modeling, drafting, and assembly applications in Unigraphics NX2, 4 and 6, (except Free Form features and Sketcher, where I am proficient but not yet a master). Since being laid off from Belcan I have returned to college as an alumni. I have used their computer lab to stay current on UG by teaching myself NX6. I also have experience in many other CAD/CAM packages and a working knowledge of GD&T.
Please keep me in mind for these and similar openings. Your consideration is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Marc Pettigrew
