My name is Mark Kubiliun, and I am a fourth year dental student at Howard University in Washington, D.C. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Florida where I received a Bachelors of Health Science degree.
Throughout my dental school career, I have recruited patients to my clinic where I have had the opportunity to diagnose numerous clinical conditions and ultimately design the necessary treatment plans. I have had experience in prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, amalgam and composite restorations, pulpectomies and pulpotomies, root canal therapy, crown preparations, complete dentures, partial dentures and both routine and surgical extractions.
Additionally, I was selected as a floor captain at Howard University's evening clinic where I evaluate indigent patients and perform necessary procedures including extractions, perio, endo, and restorative. As a floor captain I have the added responsibility and privilege of mentoring other dental students.
In 2007 I passed part one of the National Dental Board examination and plan on taking part two in August, 2009.
