M. TECH PROJECT:

Title: Characterization of acoustic package of a passenger car for Statistical Energy Analysis Software (VA-One)

Done At : Tata Motors, Pune

In this work two different sample of acoustic materials was considered for calculating acoustic properties which is used as input parameter for VA-one software, from which acoustic performance of sample materials can be predicted.

Also effect of human being on RT60 of seat was calculated using reverberation chamber at ARAI and also predicted from software, good correlation was occurred between predicted and experiment result.

PAPER PRESENTATION:

• Presented papers in Science, Engineering & Technology Conference, organized by Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore in November 2010. The paper deals with of effect of fuel injection pressure on C.I engine performance and emission.

• Presented papers in Science, Engineering & Technology Conference, organized by Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore in April 2011. The paper deals with of effect of fuel inlet temperature on C.I engine performance and emission.

ACHIEVEMENT:

• Presented two international papers in International Conference on Science, Engineering & Technology, organised by Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore in November 2010 & April 2011.

• First Runner-up in Model making at MESCOE Pune.
